The Balm Foiled Again Palette Swatches
I dear the Balm Cosmetics. The Balm pours then much idea and originality into every product they release. The Foiled Again: Foil Eyeshadow Palette combines two of my favourite things – eyeshadow and superheroes. The cherry on superlative of this shimmer shadow sundae is the shades are superhero quality. Thoughts
I decided not to review each shadow individually because the formula is so consistent throughout palette. I idea it would become a bit irksome to read, "this shadow applied beautifully and blends well", 16 times in a row – (but it'south true).
All eight foiled shades take a nice silky texture. None of the foiled shadow produced very much fallout. There was the tiniest bit of fallout with Cahoot and Behind Confined but information technology was a minimal considering both are nighttime shades.
All viii foiled shadows practical extremely well and had smashing pigmentation. Mayhem, Cahoot, Behind Bars and Captured were the most densely pigmented of the 8 foiled shadows. All eight foiled shadows applied well over primer and over clean, bare skin. I unremarkably wearable eyeshadow primer but I could almost go without it these shadows are so pigmented. I got good wear time out of the eight foiled shadows, I didn't notice any fading or creasing for 6+ hours.
Moving on to the mattes! The shade selection is super. Foiled Again includes a mix of functional warm and absurd toned browns. I adopt when brands include a nighttime brownish instead of a jet black in palettes. I detect deep browns are more versatile than blacks.
I really enjoy the formula of the 4 mattes. The four matte shadows can exist easily blended together. These mattes are on the dryer side, (particularly Seized), but all four perform well and take solid pigmented. If I had to live the residue of my life with only these four mattes I could make that piece of work.
Swatches
Foiled Again is such a artistic palette. I love products that encompass the fact that makeup is supposed to exist fun. The Lotion sets the bar very high for other brands trying to create imaginative, intriguing, high quality products. The inside of Foiled Again indicates this is Volume 1. of a serial. Hopefully that mean another instalment of Foiled Again…the gamble of the Balm Daughter is coming in the future.
